Privacy Policy

FixedFloat is a single-device, offline-first iOS app. We don't run accounts, we don't collect usage analytics, and we don't share anything with third parties. The short version is: there is no data leaving your phone.

1. Data we collect

None. FixedFloat does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information about you. The records you create live in your device's local storage and never leave it.

2. Storage

Everything you enter — titles, amounts, categories, notes, budgets, preferences — is persisted locally on your device using the iOS standard preferences store. When you delete the app, that data is removed by iOS along with it.

3. Analytics & third-party services

We do not embed any analytics SDK, ad network, crash reporter, or any other third-party data-collection mechanism.

4. Network usage

FixedFloat makes one type of outbound network request: a small HTTPS fetch to our own configuration endpoint so we can show release announcements and route around outages. This request contains no personal data — only a build identifier and the device's system locale, both used to deliver appropriate copy.

5. Children

FixedFloat is rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

6. Your rights

Because nothing leaves your device, there is no remote account for us to access on your behalf. You can export your full dataset at any time via Settings → Export as CSV, or wipe it entirely via Settings → Reset all data.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the next app update's release notes.
